Meet The Team

Owner

Sam founded Illuminate Electric in 2019.  He grew up on the New Jersey shore, where he studied the electrical field. He had always hoped of opening up an electrical company of his own, specializing in custom lighting. On his own time he enjoys mountain biking, the outdoors and good food.

Office Manager

Ariana is a Bay Area native who studied at Las Positas College. She hopes to continue to excel in her role at Illuminate Electric, and wants to learn and grow with each new obstacle that comes her way. In her spare time she enjoys listening to podcasts, embroidering, hiking, and building tiny homes. 

Full-Time Journeyman

Greg originates from Tralee County, Kerry Ireland. He aspires to become a project manager, specializing in lighting design and motor control programming. In his spare time he enjoys kitesurfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and dancing bachata. 

Part-Time Journeyman

Matt originates from Santa Cruz California. He aspires to be a licensed electrician and retire as an electrical inspector. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, home improvement projects, trips to the lake, and outdoor activities with his wife, Maddy, and dog, Lola.

Part-Time Journeyman

Stephen originates from Cotati California. He plans to become a licensed contractor and or a project manager. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and traveling with his fiancé.

Apprentice

Alex is an Oakland native. He has multiple goals for the future but the most important one is excelling in his profession and spreading his knowledge with the new comers. As a sports fanatic Alex enjoys playing soccer as well as watching it in his spare time. He also likes to go to the gym and spend quality time with his friends and family.

Apprentice

Jay originates from Scott’s Valley. He aspires to get his Journeyman Certification and grow as an electrician. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, camping, and other outdoor adventures with his girlfriend.
